Mission
Trans Relocation Support is committed to helping people move to Western Mass from states with anti-trans legislation. We aim to connect people with networks of mutual aid, resources, and community in this area. The process is a temporary support bridge that facilitates long-term local in(ter)dependence. We seek to grow community care, mutual-aid, and alternative systems of care for gender diverse people. We are guided by these principles.
Who We Are
Trans Relocation Support is a local group working with the national network Pink Haven Coalition to support trans and nonbinary folx moving to Western Massachusetts in response to an increasingly hostile environment. TRS is a collaboration of queer and trans organizers, local faith groups, families of trans kids, and allies working to identify and marshal resources, develop a fundraising and volunteer network, and provide temporary housing, mutual aid, and welcoming community.

We seek volunteers who have a variety of skills, temporary housing space, or community ties to facilitate a welcoming landing for folks. We are specifically seeking volunteers to help new folx with getting to know the area, finding housing, jobs, and medical or social services, and generally offering support. We are also looking for people who can provide temporary housing. Volunteers and housing hosts will need to undertake a vetting process.
